My feeble attempt at sketching an Arabian horse. I love Arabians for their beautiful graceful head shape and somewhat slender conformation as well as their noble spirit! The coloration is one of my faves, white with black nose, ears, stockings, mane and tail, markings. I have painted in a background with photoshop brushes as well as given a digital paint effect which have him a more brownish look that the original sketch.The Arabian or Arab horse is a breed of horse that originated on the Arabian Peninsula. With a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most easily recognizable horse breeds in the world. It is also one of the oldest breeds, with archaeological evidence of horses in the Middle East that resemble modern Arabians dating back 4,500 years.
