Thank you so much Sylvie.. I down loaded some free backgrounds from skeletal mess and other from a site called brush king. Some I create myself using photos of texture like stone or brick and photoshop editing and brushes, some totally with photoshop brushes. then just layer them in using varing opacity.. It is a matter of taste as to how much or little you want the bg texture to show.. I think I used a light effect on this one as well. :D

I love the way your background looks, it really sets the flower off well. I wish I could do that :) voted.
