Description
A combinamion of three very early blooming wildflowers in Souther Mo. Ozarks. They are all three in shades of blue and purple. One is wild purple phlox, then wild geranium and last is Polemonium reptans (the on in the front with white stamen) I love this beautiful little boquet all wet and fresh. I created six versions with various digital effects, frames, color variations and one with an encouraging Bible Verse. Any of them will look lovely on any wall of your home or workplace or as one of the wonderful products sold on this site. ................WIKIPEDIA - Polemonium reptans is a flowering plant in the genus Polemonium, native to eastern North America. Common names include Abscess Root, Creeping or Spreading Jacob's Ladder, False Jacob's Ladder, American Greek Valerian, Blue bells, Stairway to Heaven, and Sweatroot..................Phlox is a genus of 67 species of perennial and annual plants in the family Polemoniaceae. They are found mostly in North America (one in Siberia) in diverse habitats from alpine tundra to open woodland and prairie. Some flower in spring, others in summer and fall. Flowers may be pale blue, violet, pink, bright red, or white. Many are fragrant...............................Geranium maculatum, the wild geranium, spotted geranium, or wood geranium, is a perennial plant native to woodland in eastern North America, from southern Manitoba and southwestern Quebec south to Alabama and Georgia and west to Oklahoma and South Dakota. It is known as spotted cranesbill or wild cranesbill in Europe, but the wood cranesbill is another plant, the related G. sylvaticum (a European native called "woodland geranium" in North America). Colloquial names are alum root, alum bloom and old maid's nightcap.
