Description
Beautiful Male Cardinal sits in the snow near the bird feeder. Birds really benifit from the feeder when the snow is on because it is a ready food scorce when there isn't much else available. His beautiful red feathers stand out against the blanked to snow. I have give the pure white snowy background a hit of texture for a more artistic appeal.. Beautiful for your home or office decor, or perhaps greeting cards. Many more wonderful works can be found in my various galleries, form photographs and photoart to digital creations and abstracts. Thanks for browsing, commenting and most of all for any purchases. Debbie Portwood :D.......(The male Northern Cardinal is perhaps responsible for getting more people to open up a field guide than any other bird. They’re a perfect combination of familiarity, conspicuousness, and style: a shade of red you can’t take your eyes off. Even the brown females sport a sharp crest and warm red accents. Cardinals don’t migrate and they don’t molt into a dull plumage, so they’re still breathtaking in winter’s snowy backyards. In summer, their sweet whistles are one of the first sounds of the morning. Debbie, I browsed through your spectacular bird gallery this afternoon and it was an incredible journey. It would be impossible to pick any one favorite so this little gold medal guy will suffice. Thanks for the tour...Dave
