Description
A strong wind blows sand across the bare, freashly tilled earth, in front of and old barn that has long since seen it better days. Very sad to me as though the wind and sand are blowing away somthing very valuable that will never be regained. The old will be replace by the new metal structures that are cold and out of place in the rural farm landscape. I always hope that the old barns will be restored, but they rarely are. Soon there will be not more beautiful old barns.

The grass withers, the flowers fade but the word of our Lord will last forever. Wonderful image.

Debbie, I love your series of barn images! There is so much character to these wonderful old buildings and like you, I find it sad that they may one day disappear altogether from the landscape. L/F
